Your own digital nomad company – How you can start right away to earn money online
The readers requested it. I’ll tell you how to make money quickly and easily on the internet. But it won’t make you rich quickly. But at least nothing stands any longer in the way of your future life as a digital nomad. Yes, you will have to work for your money. But everyone can do this job of which I speak. Above all, you can get started right away and immediately become a digital nomad.
How can I make money as a digital nomad?
As a perpetual traveler, you depend on making money online. Surely there are many ways on the internet to make money. It is best, of course, if you already have some skills.
But don’t worry, you can also acquire them on the way in private study. But how do you survive until then?
Here I would like to introduce you to a very simple method, how you can earn relatively much money without much prior education. And with the low cost of living in many countries you should already have acquired the necessary skills within a few days to survive with a few hours of time per day. What location-independent work do I speak of?
Earn money with promotion
Okay, the nasty words affiliate links may cause you unpleasant associations. You may think now:
“I could have thought up this idea myself!” Or: “The affiliate market is already completely taken, and Amazon affiliate links are old school.”
But watch out, I’ll show you a strategy that’s barely known yet, but which is as obvious as it is effective.
You do not even have to create a niche site and you do not need to have any idea about online marketing. Yes, it’s not even about making money with that typical but time-consuming nomad-vegan-yoga-spirit blog.
The only thing you need is a bit of creativity and common sense!
But please don’t get me wrong: you really have to work for your money. As I said, a few hours a day are required. A passive income is of course not excluded for the future, but only laying in a hammock is just not possible especially in the beginning.[caption id="attachment_1112" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Except you enjoy working in a hammock ;-P[/caption]
The secret affiliate strategy
There are countless stores on the Internet for digital information products. Digistore24 is especially popular among digital nomads. And don’t worry! You are not supposed to promote a course of some online marketing celebrity as the 2,394th person here.
Rather, it’s about the fact that you find among the many categories a really good niche product that you would not have thought of in your entire life, but that has everyday relevance for as many people as possible.
An example: Yesterday, I presented this concept to a relatively poor native here in my current country of traveling, Sri Lanka. By clicking through the marketplace of Digistore24, we immediately noticed a video course that teaches new parents how to teach their children to go to the bathroom. A funny product, but the idea is awesome. And in the well-funded Western world, every year there is a market of many millions of parents who spend a lot of money on all kinds of baby gadgets.
While for the poor people here in developing countries, a commission of 7 euros would already be an average daily wage, you, however, must make sure that the commission is high enough for every sale through your affiliate link. I’m talking about the exact sum that you will eventually receive.
Because it is not worth to promote a book, even if the commission is 50%, if the book costs only 10 euros. Also, it does not pay off to advertise a course that costs 100 euros, but not even 10% commission will be granted.
The practical implementation
Now you just go to corresponding Facebook groups. In our example above, you are simply looking for one of the countless groups for parents, babies and education tips. The bigger the group, the better of course. But for small niches even small groups are already very good, provided they are alive, and the members are really interested in the topic.
There you will then post your affiliate link. But of course, it is not nice if you just place it there and then run off again. Nobody likes spam.
Rather, make sure that you provide people with value. Every good salesman knows that one should respond to the needs and wishes of the customers. So, interact a bit with the people in the group and read through their posts. Comment if people might be interested in your affiliate product.
If you have several products for a target group on offer, it makes sense to even follow certain groups and, if the topic comes up, to help out with your affiliate products.
Over time, you gain experience and can continue to optimize your approach. So, you can make your posts more eye-catching with appropriate smilies or with different standardized sales phrases that generate interest and demand for your product. Just google the term “swipe file”.
And otherwise as I said: Interact, interact and interact!
If you finish posts with questions, you’ll also get more comments. Of course, you should answer these as well. The more interaction takes place, the more the Facebook algorithm is fueled, and the more potential customers get your postings displayed.
Think like an entrepreneur
With time, you get around in the world as a digital nomad. Often you will visit poorer countries. As an entrepreneur, you see opportunities for business ideas everywhere. Many can also help local people.
One such idea is to generally outsource all sorts of tasks. Since the method presented here is quite simple, no specialist needs to do this work. Accordingly, you can train locals quickly for these tasks and thus provide them with an above-average income.
I believe that the Internet, in combination with crypto currencies, can help the Third World out of its poverty trap in no time. However, there are still many hurdles and barriers in accessing the Western market.
Here it’s your turn, as it will be no problem for you to register at marketplaces such as Digistore24 and to send them their profit shares, for example, using crypto currencies.
Considering that English, Spanish and French are spoken in many poor countries, this is optimal for covering large international markets.
Also, this type of job is well compatible with family. Especially in poorer countries, women still have children and have to take care of them. Posting a few advertising links on the smartphone now and then is quite possible. And yes, even in the poorest slums, the inhabitants can afford smartphones more frequently nowadays. Of course, not always the newest iPhone, but digitization is also progressing inexorably there.
Found a digital nomad company
As a nomad you need a company. Although it is not absolutely necessary, it simplifies many things. It is good to have something tangible in order to register with different service providers and invoicing for customers, despite having a residence.
That you as a Perpetual Traveler can live tax-free, is widely known. But that your company can be completely tax-free, has not gotten around everywhere.
So why set up your own company in Estonia, Hong Kong or Cyprus, if you can do it for example in tax havens like Panama?
But hey, here’s my insider tip: In reputable Canada, you can also found a tax and bureaucracy-free company. Not even an accounting is needed there. And the founding is much cheaper than in other offshore tax havens.
I myself use a Canada LLP as a vehicle for many of my accounts, products and services. In doing so, I deliberately decided against the much better-known Canadian LP, as this one is not only a lot more expensive, but also does not allow a full limited liability for both partners.
Thus, the Canada LP clearly loses in direct comparison to the Canada LLP. More information on how to start such an online business can be found in my article about the Canada LLP.
